Volunteering gives your mind, soul, heart, and body a jumpstart.

When individuals channel their idealism and energy into solving community problems, they build a new respect for themselves and a strong attachment to others. Greater Philadelphia Cares enables thousands of caring, concerned citizens to provide hands-on volunteer service to our city's most vulnerable residents.

We ask that volunteers take a few moments to take our online orientation and learn about our organization, our mission, and how to volunteer at our projects. We have up to 100 opportunities each month. It just takes a few minutes, and once you’re done, you can sign up for your first project!
